In 2005, Curt and Janean Johnson combined their many years of real estate experience to form "Team Johnson". This husband and wife team services the real estate needs of clients throughout San Diego County. Their business philosophy is simple: "Helping people buy or sell a home is just a matter of listening to the client's needs, outlining their options, and then following through".

Curt Johnson began his career in real estate in 1992 with Veteran Real Estate, where he focused on working with active duty and retired military service personnel clients. In his first year of business, Curt was named "Top Producing Agent of the Month" on three different occasions. Seeking a broader spectrum of clients, as well as responding to a "down" real estate market, Curt moved to ReMax Properties, where he began specializing in foreclosure transactions. Curt quickly built a rock-solid reputation with the local banks, and it wasn't much time before he was representing some of the largest mortgage companies in the US, including Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac), the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Assoc. (Fannie Mae), GMAC, Wells Fargo, and more. Curt Johnson was selected to represent these companies because of his expertise, experience, professionalism, and follow through.

The San Diego real estate market improved in the mid-1990's, and the foreclosure market began to slow. In 1997, Curt decided it was time to align himself with the #1 Century 21 office in San Diego, Century 21 Award. Since making this move, Curt has achieved the coveted CENTURION status 7 years, and DOUBLE CENTURION one of those years. Curt has also been honored by receiving numerous Quality Service Awards.

Janean Johnson began her real estate career working in residential and commercial property management in 1995. At J-Mar Investments, she managed the overall operations of a shopping center and 100+ residential units. In 2001, Janean began selling new homes for large home builders such as Shea Homes, Western Pacific Housing, and D.R. Horton, America's Builder. As a sales agent for large home builders, Janean routinely managed 25 to 50 open escrows at any given time, while consistently providing clients with the highest quality of service possible. Seeking to work more closely with individual clients, Janean decided that she'd like to work in the re-sale real estate market, also working with Century 21 Award.

Curt and Janean believed the time was perfect to blend their talents, strengths and experiences and form "Team Johnson". To date, they have been recognized as being in the "Top Ten Teams" in the company, 2006 CENTURION producers and Quality Service Award winners. It's no doubt they specialize in what buyers and sellers want in a real estate professional team: professionalism, knowledge, integrity, and exceeding service.
